Green Tea When I was
Green Tea

When I was in Bandung, I never liked green tea. I always thought that it was a drink for old people or for people in diet program ;) Maybe it was because the advertisements who made me believe that. Yeah, in Green Tea's advertisement, they always called it as a healthy drink (which is sounds interesting for old people), good for diet or able to decrese your high calories.
But here, since I coudn't found 'Indonesia's Number One Tea', the so called 'teh botol' (or 'tea in a bottle'), I was starting glance to green tea. Here, they sell it in a nice package. In a can (like coke), bottle, or carton. And there're various brands also, like Unif and Lipton. Yeah, Lipton not only sell ice lemon tea as I knew it before. They also produce green tea and peach tea (don't try peach tea, the taste's so suck!).
And I become a Green Tea Lover now. Always curious to taste different kind of brands of green tea. This drink is quite popular in Thailand, many vendors provide it.. Bakeries, Restaurants, Small Beverages Booth, fast food vendors, etc. In my campus, there are (at least) 3 kinds of green tea I can enjoyed which are sold by 3 different vendors. It haven't mention various brands for packaged green tea . Then could be more than 3! My favourite was the one that is sold near my building by a small food-vendor. They sell it like bubble tea, with some small jellies, a lot of ice (yeah!), green tea and (a little bit) milk. So yummmyyyy!
Another popular tea in Thailand is Thai's Ice Tea. We called it 'Cha Yen'. Actually, it's a tea (a regular one, black/brown tea) with some milk and ice in it. Many non-Thai people called (and thought) it as 'Thai Tea' but actually you can make it at home by yourself, don't need visit Thailand or Thai restaurant to enjoy it. The secret is in a composition of milk in that Thai Tea, which will give the special taste. Nestle, recently, launched cha yen powder under a brand called 'Tea Time'. It was prepared for modern (uncomplicated) people who are that lazy to make this tea :) Including me, of course. I don't know whether this Tea Time are sold in other countries. Somebody can give the information?
Yeah, it's time to change my way of drink from 'coffee' to 'tea', especially Green Tea. If I won't healthier, at least green tea is cheaper :)

I too had few problems when I was teen ager but now I really love to have it soon after I take my lunch or dinner. :D
